First Edition of DCHD Municipal Newsletter: DCHD introduced a new quarterly newsletter in March 2026 that was emailed to all municipalities the County to share information about DCHD and what we do every day to promote public health in our community. Volume 1 is available here.

2025 Communicable Disease Annual Report: DCHD released Delaware County’s 2025 Annual Communicable Disease Report. It provides a comprehensive overview of the epidemiological trends, public health responses, and disease surveillance activities in 2025. This report is available on DCHD’s epidemiology resources webpage. 

CHIP: The Delaware County Health Department (DCHD) is pleased to announce the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) 2024-2028, a strategic guide to address key health priorities in the county. Developed through a comprehensive assessment and community collaboration.

DCHD encourages residents to review the CHIP, which is available on the Delaware County website, /health/community-health-improvement-plan. Findings from the Community Health Assessment can be found at /health/cha, including a new Asthma Addendum released March 2026.
