Vincent A. Rongione, Esq. was appointed to the office of the Delaware County Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphan’s Court on January 2, 2024 and sworn into office on January 26, 2024, to serve a term ending in December of 2025.
Mr. Rongione is an experienced and respected attorney with over 15 years of experience in local, state, and federal government administration and law, and an executive who has served in significant leadership roles in a wide range of public and non-profit organizations. In addition to his most recent service as the Chief Administrative Officer in Pennsylvania’s 6th largest municipality, Upper Darby, Mr. Rongione served both on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. as a Director of Communications and Special Projects as well as in the State Capitol in Harrisburg as the Southeast Delegation Director in the House of Representatives.
Mr. Rongione is a Delaware County native and a graduate of Haverford Senior High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and his law degree from the Villanova School of Law, where he served as a representative to the University Senate. He is also a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School in Lander, Wyoming and holds a certification in Basic Mediation from the CORA Good Shepherd Mediation in Philadelphia.
Mr. Rongione has a passion for public service and community service. As a member of the Delaware County Bar Association, he participates in and plans to expand the local Wills for Heroes program which provides free estate planning to first responders and military Veterans. He also regularly volunteers and participates in programs with organizations including Friends of Upper Darby Trails, The Upper Darby Tree Tenders, The Schuylkill River Greenways NHA, the Darby Creek Valley Association and various other organizations.
In his free time, Vincent is an avid hiker, beachgoer, and Villanova basketball fan. Vincent resides in Upper Darby with his wife and their two young children.
