The Delaware County Parks & Recreation Department’s mission is to be a source of pride and connection to the outdoors for all Delco residents.

The Delaware County Parks and Recreation System will be a destination that welcomes and captivates residents and visitors. The park system and its beauty will be part of daily life and shape the character of Delco. Natural, cultural, artistic, historical, and recreational resources cultivate outstanding experiences, health, enjoyment, fun, and learning for all people. The Park System is sustainable, well-maintained, safe, and accessible, and meets the needs of individuals, families, and communities. The focus on preserving land continues, with a strong emphasis on connecting people to the land and each other. Aware of its value to their lives, residents are proud stewards and supporters of an extraordinary park and recreation system.
 

Parks, Recreation & Trails

The Delaware County Parks & Recreation Department maintains almost a thousand acres of park land throughout the county, providing residents with scenic nature trails, picnic groves, playgrounds, cross country running, and athletic fields for multiple sports.

We strive to create a pleasant environment for visitors to enjoy high quality recreation programs, facilities, and services.
