1. Online Marriage License Applications

The Register of Wills office has a Marriage License Online Pre-Entry Form where couples can input their information in advance of their appointment. While this is not required, it will speed up your appointment.
 

2. Online Pre-entry of Petition for Probates

The Register of Wills office has an Online Pre-Entry for Probate Form, where people can put in basic information in advance of their appointment. While this is not required, it will speed up your appointment.
 

3. Online Ordering of Copies

The Register of Wills office has an online ordering system for copies of marriage records and probate records (scroll down for probate). E-copies are filled by email, and paper copies (which involve our office’s special seal) are filled by U.S. mail. Please allow 14 business days for processing all requests and understand that orders may be subject to U.S. mail delays out of our control.
 

4. Online Records Search: Probated Estates

Members of the public can now search probated estates (but not images of documents) of Register of Wills records any time for free by proceeding to our portal, clicking the LOGIN AS GUEST button (no username/password is required), selecting Search Public Records option, selecting Case Names, and searching for your record. Individuals no longer need to pay and wait for an estate name search and there will be fewer documents ordered in error, as users can first check to determine if the document is in our records. For privacy reasons, we are not offering images of documents at this time, but users may purchase a document by proceeding to Online Ordering of Copies. Members of the public can now the search for the existence of marriage records (but not images of documents, such as the actual license) any time for free by proceeding to our portal, clicking the LOGIN AS GUEST button (no username/password is required), selecting Search Public Records option, selecting Marriage Names, and searching for your record. Individuals no longer need to wait for our office to confirm whether you applied for your marriage license in Delaware County, PA. There will also be fewer documents ordered in error, as users can first check to determine if we have the document you’re looking for in our records. For privacy reasons, we are not offering images of documents (ex: the license itself), but users may purchase a document by proceeding to Online Ordering of Copies. 6. E-filing of Orphans Court forms (10.5 and 10.6)

You can now electronically file certain documents with the Orphans’ Court, starting with Notices of Estates (Forms 10.5 and 10.6). File your documents online here.
