PROGRAM
Adult Day Services are centers that provide the frail elderly, who are living at home, an alternative to premature nursing home placement.
Assessment is the first step in the application process for programs and services. A certified assessor will complete an assessment and determine a level of care.
OPTIONS Care Management manages the ongoing needs of Long-Term Care clients after an initial assessment is completed.
Caregiver Support Program reimburses families for caregiving expenses, such as over-the-counter medicines, incontinence supplies, nutritional supplements, personal care assistance, help with house­ hold tasks, and companion services.

GATEWAY (Giving Assessment, Treatment and Empowerment in the Aging Years) targets and identifies isolated, at-risk older adults with behavioral health issues.
Home Delivered Meals/Senior Suppers provide nutritious meals to homebound older adults.
In-Home Services include a range of programs designed to allow older persons the choice of remain­ing at home.
Protective Services receives reports of suspected abuse, neglect, financial exploitation or abandonment for county residents aged 60 or older. If you believe someone is in need of Protective Service, please contact us.

Senior Centers

PROGRAM
Senior centers are available throughout the county. Activities vary from center to center, although nutritious meals, educational presentations, movies, trips, volunteer opportunities, social services and transportation are central to each.
