The Delaware County Health Department (DCHD) is pleased to announce “Navigating Our Healthcare System for Seniors,” a special summer series prioritizing our seniors. In today’s world, virtually everything is done online, and getting connected to the right resources can be difficult. In Delaware County, former Crozer patients trying to get copies of their medical records are being instructed to do so via online portals. This can be especially stressful for our older residents who may not be as technologically gifted as others. Caring members at DCHD are glad to assist at local senior centers this summer! Our dedicated team of public health professionals can help community members with getting medical records, signing up for services, and connecting to resources.
"So many of us have seen firsthand how our older family members struggle with online health system portals.” – said Lora Siegmann Werner Delaware County Health Department Director “DCHD staff members are truly looking forward to being of service at these sessions helping Delaware County seniors request their Crozer medical records."
