We are not your typical Public Works Department! In Delaware County, the typical services provided by Public Works, such as trash/recycling pickup, snow removal, storm water management, street cleaning, and road maintenance, are provided by your local municipality. Click here for links and phone numbers for your municipality.

The County-level Public Works Department is responsible for capital project management of County-owned buildings (design, engineering, construction administration) and inspection, maintenance and repair of 46 county-owned bridges. The department is also responsible for administration of Liquid Fuels Tax distributions to local municipalities.
