County Park areas are open to the public from Dawn to Dusk. Parks and facilities are subject to closure due to weather, water, fire or other hazardous conditions.


PROHIBITED

Possession or use of alcoholic beverages or narcotics.

Boisterous, immoral, or indecent conduct.

Discarding of trash, garbage, or other litter, except into containers provided for that purpose for picnickers.

Damaging, defacing, destroying, or removing any County owned property, building, sign, structure, equipment, or other material. Driving nails or other hardware into trees.

Posting of signs, distributing, selling, servicing, or renting or any supplies, equipment, material, or commodity whatsoever, or soliciting for any purpose, without written authorization from the Director of Parks & Recreation.

Operating, stopping, or parking of any vehicle, or horseback riding, except on designated roads, trails, parking areas.

Operating any vehicle in a reckless or negligent manner as to endanger other park users.

Commercial vehicular traffic on a County Park road, unless providing authorized service.

Possession or discharge or any type of firearms, bows and arrows, air guns, slingshots or fireworks.

Hunting, trapping, and the training of dogs.

Camping, picnicking and all fires, except in designated areas and facilities.

Ball playing, golfing, or horseshoe pitching, except in designated areas.

Pets, except when kept on a leash not exceeding six feet in length, attended at all times.

Swimming or wading in streams or ponds.

Disrobing or changing clothes, except in toilet facilities.

All groups gathering of ten (10) persons or more except when granted a permit.

The operation of any type of motor vehicle, such as mini-bikes, motorcycles, or any vehicle with a motor except in designated areas.

Operation of model airplanes or other motorized equipment unless authorized by the officer on duty.


Any person violating any of the above rules and regulations shall be subject to fines and/or other penalties.
