Yes, contact our office with any questions or concerns you may have. You can also file a complaint using the form on our website.


2. How do I know as a consumer if a scale has been checked for accuracy?

We recommend consumers look for our decals on various devices. The decal provides the month and year of our inspection.


3. Why do I see W&M inspectors at the grocery store checking packages?

Inspectors are performing a package check to insure consumers are paying for the contents of the merchandise not the packaging.


4. What is the definition of tare weight?

The weight of a container deducted from gross weight to obtain the weight of an empty container.


5. Why do I see weights & measures inspectors checking the price on store items?

Inspectors are verifying the price of items sold or offered for sale are accurate.
