The Delaware County Office of Sustainability will be hosting the 4th Annual Delaware County Sustainability Conference the week of June 9th – 14th, 2025, as a hybrid event!
For 2025, Delaware County is excited to announce that the 4th Annual Delaware County Sustainability Conference will be switching to a hybrid format. In response to the evolving needs of our community and the success of previous events, this year’s conference will blend the enthusiasm and energy of the previous events, while improving accessibility and casting a wider net to allow more community members to take part in the conference.
This exciting week-long event will kick off with a host of virtual sessions throughout the week of June 9th – June 13th. Topics will be centered around the County’s six sustainability focus areas of natural resources, energy and efficiencies, transportation, zero waste, climate resiliency and health and wellness, while also touching on emerging trends in sustainability. The Conference will conclude with an engaging Keynote presentation, from local celebrity and beloved meteorologist, Glenn “the Hurricane” Schwartz, followed by an exposition of local organizations, businesses, and sustainability heroes for networking and collaboration.
The Keynote Presentation and a free continental breakfast will be taking place at the extraordinary Lazaretto Ballroom, followed by networking and exploration in the historic Lazaretto Quarantine Building in Tinicum Township. Participants can expect to be exposed to a wealth of knowledge and left with actionable tools to implement sustainable practices in their everyday lives, as well as plenty of opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and organizations.
Registration information will be coming soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out the content from our previous conferences, as well.
