Delco Solar Tour

You’re Invited to the Delco Solar Tour – Monday, October 7th through Sunday, October 13th

Coinciding with National Solar Week, the Delaware County Office of Sustainability and Solarized Delco are partnering to present the Delco Solar Tour.

Delco Solar Tour offers the opportunity for community members to visit locations which have implemented solar to learn more about the process and cost while engaging with neighbors who have made the switch. Tour stops will take place between Monday, October 7th and Sunday, October 13th. Each tour stop will include a brief presentation about the array on-site, a brief viewing of the installation, and a robust opportunity for questions and answers.

The tour is the result of a partnership with homeowners, schools, and municipalities to showcase how they are already utilizing solar technologies to:

1) drastically reduce monthly energy bills,

2) reduce harmful carbon emissions,

 3) enjoy significant tax credits and cash incentives, and

 4) improve their property values.

Nationally, Solar Tours have attracted over 150,000 attendees across the U.S., offering firsthand insights from property owners about the costs, processes, and economic and environmental benefits of adopting solar energy. These tours provide a unique opportunity to see how various solar systems are integrated into different architectural styles, showcasing a range of practical and affordable solutions available today.
