Delaware County, PA — Delaware County Elections is issuing final guidance for the Tues., May 20, 2025 Municipal Primary. Polls will be open in all 428 precincts from 7:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. By law, only voters registered with the Democratic and Republican parties are eligible to vote at this Primary.
Sample Ballots, Candidate Lists, and Polling Places
Sample ballots are available at the Delco Votes! website at DelcoPA.Gov/Sample. Easy-to-use resources, including a polling-place look-up tool are available at DelcoPA.Gov/Polls. By law, voters must go to their designated precinct polling site to vote in-person on election day. NOTE: All precincts are equipped with Electronic Poll Books which provide information to re-direct any voter who arrives at the wrong polling place.
Mail/Absentee Ballots
Voters who requested mail/absentee by the May 13 deadline should receive their ballot by Sat., May 17. Voters who have not received their mail/absentee ballot should visit the Voter Service Center at the Government Center in Media on Monday or Tuesday. Mail/absentee ballots must be received by the Bureau of Elections by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. To avoid missing that deadline, voters should use a County drop box to return a mail/absentee ballot close to or on Election Day.
Election Results (Unofficial)
Unofficial results for each election—including primary, general, municipal, and special elections—are posted on the Delco Votes Election Results web page, located at DelcoPA.Gov/Results, starting at or about 8:20 p.m. on election night. Results are unofficial until certification by the County, and later, by the Pennsylvania Department of State.
