This week, the Delaware County Health Department will be providing COVID-19 vaccinations at two locations.
The Delaware County Wellness Center in Yeadon has re-opened after several months of construction, and will now provide free COVID-19 vaccinations every other Thursday, beginning May 5, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.
On Friday, the Delaware County Health Department (DCHD) will join the Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA) at the Celebrate Age Senior Living Expo being held at Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack on Friday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
1st and 2nd doses, as well as boosters, of both Pfizer and Moderna will be available. All vaccinations are free—no ID or health insurance required, and walk-ins are welcome!
Residents should be aware that COVID-19 vaccinations have been discontinued at the Keystone First Wellness Center in Chester and the Watkins Avenue Senior Center in Upper Darby. DCHD is incredibly grateful to our partners at Keystone First and the Watkins Avenue Senior Center, as well as the residents for making these clinics successful, and contributing to the health and safety of these communities!
