Released: May 15, 2021

The 2021 Municipal Primary Election scheduled for Tuesday, May 18, features four statewide ballot measures that are up for consideration by all Delaware County registered voters, regardless of party affiliation.

The ballot measures include a statewide referendum titled —

Making Municipal Fire and Emergency Medical Services Companies Eligible for Loans

— and three constitutional amendments that are titled:

Termination or Extension of Disaster Emergency Declarations

Disaster Emergency Declaration and Management

Prohibition Against Denial or Abridgement of Equality of Rights Because of Race or Ethnicity.

All Delaware County voters are eligible to participate in the May 18 Primary. Voters registered with the Republican Party or Democratic Party will qualify for their particular party’s ballot. Voters not registered with a party will receive a third-party (nonpartisan) ballot with only the ballot measures.
