On November 3, 2021, the CDC approved the recommendation for COVID-19 vaccines for children 5 and older.
Vaccines are another weapon in the fight against COVID-19 and are an important tool to keep children learning in-person all year long.
Clinical studies show that the COVID-19 vaccine protects children ages 5 through 11 from getting very sick from COVID-19. Vaccinating our youngest learners is a critical next step in the COVID battle, and it is hoped that by bringing together this panel of experts to provide detailed information about the vaccines, parents will feel confident, inspired and empowered to sign up their children to receive the vaccine.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
