Delaware County Council Chairman Brian Zidek issued a Disaster Declaration on August 4, 2020 in response to the damage across the county as a result of the day's storm and flooding caused by Tropical Storm Isaias. The order was issued to expedite relief efforts. First Responders and Disaster Relief Teams continued to work throughout the night and the following day to ensure areas are safe and provide shelter to dozens of displaced families.
