The Delaware County Health Advisory Board will open its November meeting to the public, at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 28th, in the County Council Public Meeting room on the first floor of the Government Center in Media.

As part of its continued outreach, the Health Advisory Board invites all municipal health officers to attend the morning meeting, along with public health stakeholders and members of the community.

Dr. George Avetian, Delaware County Senior Medical Advisor, and Lori Devlin, Director of the Department of Intercommunity Health, will present information on current public health concerns and initiatives, including 2018-19 Flu Season update, the Heroin Task Force and Regional Opioid Initiatives, Suicide Prevention Symposium, the Local Boards of Health Association and an update on the Delaware County Health Literacy Coalition.
