Job Opening: Project Manager

The County of Delaware seeks a Project Manager with documented experience. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to defined timelines and within the allocated budget.
The Project Manager is responsible for partnering with the business and end-users and ensuring the product meets their needs.
Strong understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems, NeoGov experience a plus
Comfortable in a tech-heavy role
Use appropriate project management tools, reports, templates, and PMO process documentation.
Work directly with department staff and vendors (if applicable) and, when necessary, help other departments fulfill the requirements of assigned projects.
Utilize project management best practices, including risk management, quality management, change management, change control, and communication.
Manage through collaboration and by providing leadership, guidance, and support to all project team members on assigned projects.
Conduct business process analysis and technology evaluations.
Work with internal customers to identify and implement process and technology changes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Updating and re-evaluating job descriptions and FLSA status for County positions in partnership with the Compensation Team.
Implementation of electronic workflow to replace paper systems
Establishing a yearly departmental review process to update all positions and salary information
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is strongly preferred
A minimum of five years of experience as a project manager
Excellent project management skills with the ability to provide high-level oversight on a multitude of projects simultaneously
Proven ability in budget creation and execution
Ability to build collaborative relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Residence Requirement: The County of Delaware has a residency requirement for employees. Anyone applying for this job must reside in Delaware County or be willing to move to the County within six months of starting employment.
