Weekly Hours: 40.00
Salary $16.06 per hour / $29,229.00 Annually
Shift: 8:30-4:30 PM Monday through Friday, 35-hour week. Occasional overtime for special sale of dog licenses.


Duties of Position

Under the direction of the Help Desk Supervisor, the IT Helpdesk Assistant will:

Receives & processes applications for Dog, Fish & Hunting licenses and permits, monitors for any adjustments of fees or changes in requirements.

Receives, reviews & processes in-person & on-line applications for PA Dog licenses.

Monitors internal electronic application system; reviews applications & payments received through the County website, generates license & mails to customer; Prepares deposit.

Maintains spreadsheet of all Dog licenses distributed & payments received; balances payments received with licenses issued; Maintains file of voided licenses.

Coordinates with outside agencies selling Dog licenses; Collects payments & verifies licenses sold by outside agencies.

Forwards monthly report & payment to the Commonwealth of PA, as required.

Accepts applications & payment for Delaware County Dog Park registrations; Maintains records of key fobs generated; Mails key fob to customer.

Accepts & processes applications for hunting & fishing licenses; Reviews applications, processes payment & enters information into State electronic system; Generates license for applicant.

Receives Doe permit applications through the mail; Processes applications & payments; Mails permit to applicant.

Receives & processes Pistol Permits & payments; Verifies identity of applicant; Forwards paperwork to PA State Police.

Responds to questions/inquiries regarding various licenses & permits; Answers questions, research’s & resolves issues/problems through communication with Game Commission, Fish Commission & Game Wardens.

Meets with State Auditors to provide documents, review records & answer questions.

Performs other related duties.


Qualifications

High School graduate, or equivalent; Excellent math and computer skills

Residence Requirement: The County of Delaware has a residency requirement for employees. Anyone applying for this job must reside in Delaware County or be willing to move to the County within three months of starting employment.
