Position: Groundskeeper
Department: Parks & Recreation

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm at 40 hours per week
Salary: $34,403.20 Annually


Essential Duties:

Under general supervision of Superintendent of Parks and Park Foreman:

Performs minor building maintenance for County Parks buildings.

Install mulch, soil, seed, sod, trees, shrubs or flowers.

Maintain ball fields including tilling, filling and grading.

Assist, when needed with Summer Festival.

Set up, maintain and take down Festival lights.

Perform snow and ice removal from parking lots and walk ways.

Remove trash from parks 2x per week.

Overtime for special events to set up prior to and clean-up following event.

Overtime for weather related or emergency needs.


Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent; Valid Driver's license required. Ability to operate hand and power tools and machinery in order to maintain orderly appearance of County Parks and Golf Course.
