Job Opening: Licensed Electrician

Shift: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, extended hours as needed
Salary: $46,995 annual
Performs various electrical repairs to help maintain normal building operation and performs various electrical construction projects where necessary.
Inspecting and testing electrical lighting, communication, power circuits, distribution panel controls, and monitors to locate faults and assure the safety of electrical circuitry and equipment.
Repairs electrical circuits/equipment by replacing defective parts and rewiring electrical connections.
Installs new wiring and electrical machinery and assembles, installs, and connects components for switch motors, relays, transformers, lighting fixtures, and other equipment.
Estimates materials and manpower needed for projects.
Maintains a sufficient inventory of parts/supplies to always perform complex work. Directs work of maintenance workers assisting on jobs.
All other duties as assigned
High School graduate or equivalent
3-5 years previous experience in respective trade and/or certification if applicable. All positions are required to be on 24-hour call-in for emergency situations
Residence Requirement: The County of Delaware has a residency requirement for employees. Anyone applying for this job must reside in Delaware County or be willing to move to the County within six months of starting employment.
