Assists with management of the Emergency Operations Center, Incident Management and coordination with Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, neighboring counties, regional partners and FEMA.
Assists with Emergency Operations Planning for the County, Municipalities, Schools and Higher Education as well as all phases of Healthcare.
Assists with management of the Emergency Operations Center, Incident Management and coordination with Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, neighboring counties, regional partners and FEMA.
Assists with Emergency Operations Planning for the County, Municipalities, Schools and Higher Education as well as all phases of Healthcare.
Operates the Regional Emergency Notification System (Delco Alert/Everbridge).
Administrative role in the Regional Incident Management System (WEBEOC).
Assists with Emergency Management Training and Certification for County and Local Emergency Management staff.
Facility Management
Assists with coordination of facility projects with Facilities.
Hazardous Materials
Assists with maintaining the County’s Hazardous Materials Safety Program.
Make purchasing recommendations for hazardous materials equipment.
Responding to Hazardous Materials Incidents and taking defensive and offensive actions.
Assists with Training and Certification of Hazardous Materials Response Team.
Assists with Hazardous Materials Grant Writing and reporting.
SARA Title III
Assists with Administration & Management of the County’s SARA Title III Program.
Assists with Recordkeeping for SARA Title III Program of facilities and chemical inventories.
Onsite and off-site Facility Planning for SARA Title III.
Homeland Security
Assists with Regional Critical Infrastructure and Schools projects.
Participates with Regional Emergency Management Technology Projects.
Working Conditions: Monday through Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM and on call essential employee.
