Salary: $60,000 ($28.85 per hour)
Site Location: George W. Hill Correctional Facility (Thornton, PA)
Responsible for collecting and interpreting data to take actionable steps to improve the agencies performance and meet goals. Their duties include gathering facility information and statistics, building charts and graphs to present results to executives and finding ways to improve a company’s efficiencies using gathered data.
Work with executives and other leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
Structure large data sets to find usable information
Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required
Verbal and written communication skills
Technical writing skills
Coding skills in languages such as Oracle
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to set and meet deadlines
Ability to work in high-pressure situations
Experience with statistical software
Reporting and data visualization skills
Excellent attention to detail
Standard jail facility and office environment. Incumbent may be involved in sitting and walking at will, walking/standing and/or sitting for long periods, lifting/ carrying heavy objects, crouching/kneeling, bending at the waist, close and far vision, reaching, handling/ grasping/fingering objects, hearing sounds/communication. Incumbent is frequently exposed to the hazards associated with jail operations, such as potentially violent individuals and communicable disease. No prolonged extreme physical demands are associated with normal duties or assignments.
