Job Opening: Court Information Officer

Salary: $18.93 hourly / $34,452.60 Annually
Under the direction of the Director, the Court Information Officer will:
Pull and prepare files for court.
Attend court with assigned judge.
Maintain true and accurate record of court proceedings on multiple systems.
Complete all appropriate paperwork.
Prepare sentence sheets, bail sheets, and bench warrants in accordance to court proceedings.
Expedite paperwork to correct offices (Bench warrants, Prison, DA?s Office, Probation etc.).
Call jury trial; administer the Voir Dire, strikes for cause, take and certify the verdict.
Maintain and deliver attendance to the Jury Board.
Custodian of the record and evidence.
Understand and implement scanning system (Acorde).
Order evaluations and transcripts.
Docket/Dispose every case on CPCMS (state system) according to court hearings.
Other duties as assigned.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Strong computer skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Able to exercise independent judgement Physical Requirements.
May be required to remain in courtroom for long periods of time without designated lunch hour.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
