Specific duties of this position include the following, but are not limited to: typing and proofreading of any and all case material (i.e. case records, forms, correspondence, court summaries, etc.) receptionist duties, distributing and logging of tokens, vouchers, operating the switchboard, interaction with co-workers, agency staff, clients, and professionals, maintaining and distributing supplies and forms, monitoring and providing routine maintenance for fax machine and office equipment, taking minutes at assigned meetings (i.e. unit meetings), filing and maintenance of any and all case material, providing clerical coverage in other office sites as deemed necessary by the Clerical Supervisor I.
Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eight grade, or completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course, or, any combination of equivalent experience and training.
This position has a residency requirement.

Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including, but not limited to, PA State Police, Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI clearance.
Residence Requirement: The County of Delaware has a residency requirement for employees. Anyone applying for this job must reside in Delaware County or be willing to move to the County within three months of starting employment.
