Shift: 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, 35hour workweek
Salary: $39,460.00 annual/$21.68 an hour
Under general supervision of Administrator or Assistant Administrator:
Conducts pre-arraignment interviews of defendants arrested and charged within an assigned area, and recommends dollar amount of cash bail or appropriate bail program to Magistrate.
Forwards information to appropriate others for further processing.
Meets with Administrator or Assistant Administrator to receive assignments, discuss work-related problems, vacation, sick time, etc.
Receives in person or phoned notification of arrests that have occurred within assigned area, or at any location within Delaware County in the event of the absence of the appropriate Interviewer.
Performs related duties as required.
Two (2) years experience in Criminal Justice or related field involving eliciting, gathering and verifying information about social and community factors from the general public, various agencies and organizations, etc. OR, minimum of three (3) years experience in the Bail Bond Office to include at least one (l) year substituting for Bail Interviewer
Physical Requirements: Normal good health.
