Judge Deborah (“Deb”) Krull was elected to a ten-year term on the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County in November 2021. She currently is assigned to the Family Law Division.

Judge Krull began her legal career as in-house counsel for a Philadelphia union, primarily handling collective bargaining, unfair labor cases and labor arbitrations. She began practicing in Delaware County in 1997 concentrating on labor and employment law. While maintaining her private practice , in 2013 she was elected to serve as a Magisterial District Judge for the Delaware County municipalities of Media, Nether Providence and Swarthmore.

Judge Krull has been active member of the Delaware County Bar Association since 1997. She has served on the Bar Association’s Board of Directors and as co- chair of the Community Outreach Committee since 2019. In 2022, she was awarded a Special Recognition Award for dedicated and outstanding service to the Bar Association for her efforts in organizing seminars for the community on various issues during the COVID pandemic.

Judge Krull has also served on the Boards of the Media Arts Council, Pennsylvania Veterans Museum and the Media Theatre for the Performing Arts.

She finds happiness in a variety of pursuits and, in her “spare” time enjoys running, walking her dog and spending time with her family (not necessarily in that order).
