Job Opening: Historic Preservation Internship
Posting Date: May 31, 2022
Currently we have 49 municipalities, 17 of which have at least been partially digitized by our section. Our intern in 2019 was able to complete 3 (large) surveys. We have 32 municipalities left, with different levels of existing surveys. 18 have relatively comprehensive surveys from the 1980s-90s that would require just updating. 11 others have just ‘Windshield’ surveys with minimal information, and 3 have no previous survey list. This is an ongoing project that has been disrupted by the pandemic and lack of interns over the past few years. If we had a dedicated full time intern to work primarily on the surveys and assist with the other tasks as needed, we would be able to finish this project much quicker.
