COVID-19 Vaccinations

 Home / Departments / COVID-19 / COVID-19 Vaccinations

New! Pediatric COVID-19 vaccines are now available for all children 6 months and over, including at the Delaware County Wellness Center at Yeadon on select dates (see dates below). While walk-ins are welcome, demand for pediatric vaccinations is currently high. To ensure your child’s vaccination, please schedule an appointment. You can also check the Federal vaccines.gov website for the most up-to-date appointment availability in the Delaware County area.

COVID-19 Vaccines: Eligibility

All individuals ages 6 months+, regardless of residency status, are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccines. COVID-19 vaccines are free, regardless of health insurance, and there should be no charges or out-of-pocket costs (like copays or deductibles) regardless of who administers the vaccine.

Individuals who are unsure about eligibility based on age and health—or received the Johnson & Johnson vaccination and are unsure about their eligibility for boosters—are advised to contact the Delaware County Wellness Line at (484) 276-2100 or contact their Primary Care Physician or healthcare provider.

Please click this link for tables from the CDC to determine your eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccines:

  • Table 1 provides the Immunization Schedule for Children 6 Months through 17 Years of Age
  • Table 2 provides the Immunization Schedule for Persons 18 Years of Age
  • Table 3 provides a COVID-19 Vaccine Products Summary

Reminders Regarding Boosters

  • You do not need to go back to the same provider to receive your booster dose.
  • Many pharmacies and other vaccine providers are ready and able to administer booster doses.
  • A vaccine card or record, provided to you during your initial vaccination dose, will be required at subsequent appointments. If you’ve lost your Vaccination card, click here to review the lost card guidance.

LOST COVID-19 VACCINATION CARDS: WHAT TO DO

If you have lost your COVID-19 vaccination card, the PA Department of Health (PA DOH) will send you a record of your immunizations. Please visit the Pennsylvania Statewide Immunization Information System (PA-SIIS web page) and complete the Authorization for Release of Immunizations Records Form. You will need to upload a copy/image of your Photo I.D.

It is important to note that the PA DOH vaccination record, as well as the CDC vaccination card that individuals receive at the time of their vaccination, are both official proofs of vaccination.
