Update! Starting Thursday, September 29, the Delaware County Health Department will be providing pediatric COVID-19 vaccinations (for children under the age of 5) on alternating Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Delaware County Health Department Wellness Center at Yeadon. Update! Starting Wednesday, September 28, the Delaware County Health Department is providing the bivalent formulation of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine booster to Delaware County residents. The new bivalent boosters—developed specifically to combat Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5—were approved for use by the FDA on August 31 and give individuals broad protection against COVID-19.
